Crafts
BDA sponsors the Banada Ladies Tapestry and Quilting
Group.
Annual Plant Sale
Each year in May we hold a sale of bedding plants to
raise funds - the proceeds of which aid in the upkeep
of public gardens, church grounds and verge trimming.
This is a very successful event which attracts garden
lovers from a wide area. Please come along to our next
plant sale.
Organised Walks / Trekking
There are numerous walks in the locality of Banada,
namely the Shamrock Walks which start from the centre
of Banada and take in 4 to five miles of good long roads
and virgin bog land.
Ponies are also available through the BDA for longer
trekking journeys throughout the surrounding hillsides.
